NedGraphics 2027: Creativity, Collaboration, and Production, Connected

Textile design rarely happens in isolation. Behind every finished fabric, rug, garment, or surface is a progression of creative decisions, technical refinements, approvals, production requirements, and contributions from people working across different applications, departments, and locations.

NedGraphics 2027 brings these elements closer together.

At the center of the latest release is a more connected and flexible way of working across the NedGraphics ecosystem. New cloud capabilities make it easier to access, manage, visualize, and collaborate on files, while expanded design and production features give textile professionals greater freedom to develop ideas and prepare them for manufacturing.

From the introduction of OPTINEDCloud to new support for rotary printing workflows, customized yarns, product sizing, and advanced production requirements, NedGraphics 2027 is designed to reduce friction throughout the textile development process.

This is where creativity, technology, and production come together.

A New Foundation for Connected Textile Workflows

Design files move through many hands before they reach production. They are created, reviewed, revised, shared, approved, and prepared for manufacturing, often across different teams and systems.

OPTINEDCloud introduces a centralized cloud storage and asset management environment created for NedGraphics users. It gives design and production teams one connected space in which to store, share, manage, and visualize their files.

Files can be shared with colleagues and external partners, comments can be added directly to assets, and feedback can remain connected to the work being reviewed. This gives conversations greater context, reduces lengthy email exchanges, and helps everyone remain aligned as a design progresses.

OPTINEDCloud connects directly with Jacquard, Texcelle, Tuft, True Coloring, Print Studio Premium, and 3DDI. Through two-way synchronization, users can save and synchronize their work without leaving the application.
The result is a more continuous workflow, where files, feedback, and approvals remain connected from design through production.

Greater Freedom to Create and Adapt

NedGraphics 2027 introduces new capabilities that help designers respond to different products, production methods, and creative requirements without adding unnecessary complexity to their workflows.

For designs that must work across several product dimensions, the release introduces TexResize, a new licensed add-on for Texcelle. Particularly suited to rugs, towels, and other products manufactured in multiple sizes, TexResize makes it easier to adapt a design while preserving its visual integrity.

Texcelle also gains optional NEDLink functionality, allowing design data and parameters to be transferred directly to third-party ERP and PLM systems without leaving the application.

For rotary printing customers, Engraver Premium and Tonal Tracing are now bundled directly into the installers for Easy Coloring Premium and Print Studio Premium. This provides a more efficient path from creative development to production-ready artwork while bringing important rotary workflow capabilities closer to the applications in which the work takes place.

Color workflows have also been strengthened. The latest Pantone color libraries are now available within NedGraphics Atlas through Easy Coloring Premium and True Coloring, giving designers and color professionals access to current Pantone additions within their existing environment.

Together, these enhancements give textile professionals more flexibility to adapt, prepare, and refine their work while maintaining a closer connection to production requirements.

Bringing Customized Yarns into Jacquard

Yarn has a fundamental influence on the appearance, texture, and physical character of a woven textile. While standard digital libraries provide an essential foundation, specialized products often require materials that reflect particular creative or manufacturing needs.

Through the new Gemell Yarn integration, tailored yarns created in Gemell’s YarnEditor can be brought directly into Jacquard.

This gives Jacquard users greater flexibility when developing woven textiles with customized yarns, allowing digital designs to reflect the intended materials and textures more closely.

By bringing specialized yarn information into the Jacquard design environment, NedGraphics 2027 helps designers create more representative digital interpretations of the textiles they intend to produce.

More Realistic Visualization, More Confident Decisions

A strong digital simulation must communicate more than color and pattern. It should help designers, manufacturers, and customers understand how a textile is expected to look and behave before physical production begins.

With NedGraphics 2027, Tuft simulations can generate cut and shear segments for every yarn. This produces more complete and realistic results for cut and shear tufted designs, giving users a clearer representation of the intended surface.

Alongside connectivity to OPTINEDCloud, these enhancements create a stronger path from design simulation to collaboration, review, and approval.

Three-dimensional workflows are becoming more connected as well. 3DDI now integrates with OPTINEDCloud, bringing cloud-based saving and synchronization directly into the 3D workflow. This allows 3D assets to participate more naturally in the wider collaboration and review process.

3DDI is also now licensed through OPTINEDKey, giving users access through the same licensing environment used across NedGraphics and Optitex solutions.

Greater Control at the Point of Production

Some of the most meaningful workflow improvements are those that remove small but persistent obstacles from everyday work.

Jacquard Connect now supports Advanced Weave Programs, expanding access to more sophisticated weave program capabilities. Refined handling for PDC(x) and NCC files makes it easier to select the correct file types within card folders, helping ensure that loom or harness definitions are used correctly without unnecessary cleanup.

When a machine’s NCL file cannot be located, Jacquard Connect now provides a clear missing-file error message. This gives users more useful information at the moment it is needed, allowing missing configuration files to be identified and resolved more quickly.

Together, these refinements support a more efficient transition from design intent to production execution, helping teams maintain greater control as increasingly sophisticated textiles move toward manufacturing.

One Licensing Identity Across NedGraphics and Optitex

NEDKey is now OPTINEDKey, bringing licensing for NedGraphics and Optitex together under one unified identity.

Current NEDKey users can continue signing in with their existing credentials, with no change required to access their solutions.

Switching networks also no longer requires users to reconfigure proxy settings manually, making it easier to remain connected when moving between working environments.

OPTINEDKey provides the unified licensing foundation behind an increasingly connected NedGraphics and Optitex ecosystem.

A More Connected Future for Textile Design

NedGraphics 2027 reflects the way textile professionals increasingly need to work: creatively, collaboratively, and with a clear connection to production.

OPTINEDCloud establishes a new foundation for connected file management, feedback, and collaboration. TexResize creates greater flexibility for adapting designs across product dimensions. Updated rotary printing, color, yarn, simulation, 3D, and weaving capabilities help creative and production teams address specialized requirements with greater confidence.

Individually, each enhancement solves a meaningful workflow need. Together, they create something larger: a textile development environment in which fewer steps stand between an idea and its realization.

NedGraphics 2027 brings design and production closer together, helping textile professionals spend less time navigating disconnected processes and more time creating, refining, and producing exceptional work.

The next chapter of textile design is not simply digital. It is connected.
