New York, NY – NedGraphics is pleased to announce that a technology implementation has been completed with the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.). As part of this project, NedGraphics has provided state-of-the-art computer design software to the department of Textile & Surface Design in the Art & Design Division of F.I.T.
The installation provides the department with design software that will give students a hands-on education with the most current and up-to-date technology used in the retail, apparel, and home furnishing industries. The software will help students learn fabric design and merchandising respectively.

The technology from NedGraphics includes integrated computer programs that work together as a comprehensive design system. Programs include Fashion Studio and Dobby. Fashion Studio; a solution for designing textiles, print repeats, colorways, knits, simulations, and storyboards. Dobby; a solution for designing complex and technical wovens. All of these programs will be installed on 175 computers in the academic computing laboratory and have been incorporated into this fall's curriculum.
